Who this will help
My name is David Ullström, retired hockey player. I start this fundraiser for my friend Sanni Hakala. Captain for HV71 in the women's elite league SDHL and Finnish national team player. In order to play the game she loves, she worked as a janitor in the team home arena with a contagious smile everyday.
Why I'm fundraising
On November 24th she accidentally fell into the goal post which left her paralyzed from the chest down. Once again, in tough times like this, I simply ask the entire hockey family and community to gather together and help a fellow member out.
The impact of your support
Sanni is left paralyzed with a new life of uncertainty. Your humble contribution will be used for medical bills and extensive physical therapy.
