Fundraiser for water damage

The story --  After driving 6 hours through a winter storm from Portland to Pullman I arrived with my mom and my 2 girls to rest after the long trip. Within 90 minutes, the pipes to the sprinkler system burst though the walls and thermastat filling my 3 bedroom apartment with gallons and gallons of water. My mother screamed to the girls "Put your boots on!! (which were xmas gifts from her)." We  called 911 and the fire department arrived a few minutes later. The girls were terrified since a loud alarm sounded and hundreds of gallons gushed through the walls. We grabbed our jackets and boots and ran outside into the freezing snow as we watched what looked like a waterfall coming over the patio from my second story apartment.

Currently -- We are in the process of moving furniture into the back bedroom since we are in the middle of a winter storm and help is extremely limited. The water damage is extensive and it will take 3-4 weeks to gut the apartment for repairs. There seems to be no end to my mother washing all the wet clothes and madly pairing up socks. I would appreciate any support as this is a substantial blow financially and emotionally. I will need help to live in a hotel for 3-4 weeks, food to eat, replenish my personal property damage (toys, books, etc.) and possible damage due to moving delicate items quickly.

Even if it is $5.00, my girls will appreciate it. My prorities are keeping them safe and not losing track in my Phd program. I am a single mother of 2 kiddos trying to complete this long journey of becoming a health psychologist. I would appreciate anything you can give, especially given the cost of a hotel for 3-4 weeks, which is needed immediately to keep everything safe and stable for Bella and Ava. lesson learned?: I need to get renters insurance after this is over and learn to smile through tragedy. Thankfully, we are safe for the time being.
