Skyland Ranch property fire destroyed Pitkin home

We are Samantha Letterman, KC Letterman and James Howell. Our parents, David and Christine Pitkin, lost their house and all of their belongings in a house fire on December 22.

My parents have spent the last 35 years helping others find a path to recovery from addiction and substance abuse disorders at Skyland Ranch. They have given to others without expectation.

The funds raised will be used to secure housing and buy the essentials. The house was a total loss and also due to extenuating circumstances was also uninsured.

We are asking for help from friends, family and all others that have been helped in any way either through our parents or otherwise. A call for help to rebuild our parent’s well-being, they will be going through a lot emotionally…
