Hi, my name is Edbert and I am fundraising on behalf of Solar Chapter, an NGO which focuses on helping to develop rural areas in Indonesia by providing easy access to water, improving the quality of education & sanitation, and developing communities.

Our current project is SMKN Nibaaf (a vocational high school in East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia) where 125 students and 5 teachers currently share 1 unisex toilet, leading to inadequate sanitation and limited internet access and education programs. From this, we plan to build 2 toilets (1 for the girls & 1 for the boys) and partner with organizations affiliated with universities in Indonesia to supply offline e-learning materials to learn new subjects such as Entrepreneurship, Digital Literacy, and English.

The problem: due to the pandemic, a number of sponsors have pulled out from the project, and we have been facing difficulties in looking for new sponsors.

In relation to sanitation, this project has been fully funded and completed, as shown above for conditions before and after.

Currently, we are lacking Rp 25,000,000.00 ($2300 AUD) for closing off our education project, which has to be paid by the end of July 2021, and that is why this gofundme has been created.

Any amount of your donation will impact the students at SMKN Nibaaf’s future.

Thank you for taking part in this project. You have helped provide proper toilets and education to 125 kids :)

Below are the construction progress from the beginning of the project.
