Sanitary-pads & Mosquito Nets for Flood Victims

To date, devastating heavy floods have hit Pakistan, affecting an estimated 33 million people and causing the death of more than 1,100 people since the monsoon season began in June.

As we know, sanitary pads are necessary and essential for women and girls who have periods, and access to these items is primary health care and human right. Hence women, especially young girls, desperately need it in the flooded areas. Therefore, we will provide these items to victims living in the local flood camps in Sindh province.

Alongside, people in the flooded areas, especially Sindh, are likely to get diarrhea, cholera, gastroenteritis, typhoid, and vector-borne diseases like dengue and malaria. Therefore, we will provide the displaced and needy people mosquito nets, spray and essential medication.
