Sanibel Siesta's Paul and Carrie Rebuilding Fund

Hi friends! This fundraiser is for our own Paul and Carrie, Logistics Manager and handyman extraordinaire for Sanibel Siesta on the Beach.

Hurricane Ian left a path of destruction all over Sanibel Island. Sanibel Siesta on the Beach sustained its share, with considerable damage to the office and the caretaker's cottage - Paul and Carrie's home. Paul was out of town at the time, and due to the short notice of Hurricane Ian's trajectory change, Carrie was limited in the belongings she could take. Everything, including Paul's car, has been destroyed. A wall of water literally pushed the house's walls away from the studs. Only the roof is holding the walls up. The belongings that were left were covered in mud and not reusable.

The rebuilding will happen, but it will be long before they can return to a liveable home. This fundraiser will help Paul and Carrie reestablish their household and cover living expenses while they wait for their cottage to be rebuilt.
