I am a chef with over 15 years experience looking to raise money to start an exciting new street food/comfort food venture in Newcastle upon Tyne. The funds are for startup costs such as equipment, insurance and site fees. The way I see this developing is to start with a stall, then expand to get a food van and a unit to prepare in. This opens the door to creating more jobs post Covid.
I want to keep food exciting, fresh, seasonal, and most of all, full of flavour. Drawing on my experience from kitchens across the world from pub kitchens all the way up to michelin star level, I will create dishes that are adventurous and bold, using a range of different techniques.
I love to teach and learn from others, so while using current experience and knowledge, I will also be constantly developing, learning about new techniques and flavours and putting my own twist on them to make something unique.
