Sangam Arts aims to bring together people from different cultures using traditional arts as a platform. One of our initiatives to further this goal is Sangam Spotlight-  a series of free lecture demonstrations by artists from very diverse traditions. The events will be held at various locations in the Bay Area and our hope is to help introduce children in various communities to dances from cultures they may not be familiar with as a way to expand their horizons and allow them to appreciate these rich and vibrant traditions.
