Sandy's Fund - Apartment Fire
Donation protected
On Friday, August 26th, the apartment building of Sandy Stratoudakis caught fire. This is the second fire her apartment complex has had in just one week. The apartment above Sandy's collapsed onto hers, causing Sandy's belongings to be extensively damaged and lost. Sandy was thankfully unharmed in the fire, however, she still lost a great deal of furniture, clothes, memorabilia, and more. Without having renter’s insurance, the majority of this burden is on Sandy who is now displaced from her home.
For those of you who do not know Sandy, she gives everything to all and never asks for anything in return. Over the past 20 years, Sandy has dedicated herself to working with students in the local schools. She has helped provide these students with equitable learning experiences, participated in school events, and works for the after school program. Sandy consistently strives to be a role model to the young children of Highland Park. She has developed lasting relationships with countless students, staff, and families. Therefore, it is only right for us to return the favor by doing everything we can to assist Sandy during this time of need.
With the help of your donations, we are hoping that we can cover immediate necessities and miscellaneous expenses. This includes but is not limited to food, clothing, temporary housing, and living expenses. We are hoping that this fund will aid in Sandy’s transition to a new home for the time being. We kindly ask that you help us with this cause through a monetary donation. No amount is too small, and anything you can donate is greatly appreciated and will help Sandy immensely. We are hopeful that Sandy will be able to get back on her feet in a timely manner, but she cannot do it alone. Let’s help spread the word and help meet Sandy’s needs.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to review our story and for any contributions you can make!
