Sandy's Funeral Services

My 16-year-old cousin, Sandy Barrios, passed away unexpectedly last week. Her mother took her to the hospital because she wasn't feeling well, and while there she had a stroke and went too long without oxygen. It was tragic and sudden.
She was a sweet girl, kind to everyone and tons of fun to be around. We miss her so much! When I moved to the US, she was like another sister to me. We loved to talk about the future and how she wanted to move to Colorado for college. I loved being around her because she was super goofy, loud, loved music, and had so much excitement about everyone around her. She was always smiling and could cheer me up on queue.
Her family has always treated my sister and me like we were part of their family. They are heartbroken by the loss of their daughter, and also have to deal with the work and expense of the funeral. Sandy's funeral is next week and I offered to help the family raise some money to help pay for the expenses, which is why I created this fund me page.
I know that many of you didn't know Sandy. But those who did will always remember her for her glowing smile and love for life. If you can give anything, even if it's a small amount, I know it would be a huge help for her family. Thank you!!!

Mi prima Sandy, de 16 años, fallecio la semana pasada. Su mama la llevo al hospital porque no se sentia bien, y alli le dio un infarto cerebral. Todo paso rapido y sin aviso.
Sandy era una niña muy dulce, amable con todos y super divertida. La extrañamos muchisimo!!! Cuando me mude a los Estados Unidos, ella me trato como a su hermana mayor. Nos encantaba platicar sobre el futuro y ella queria mudarse a vivir a Colorado para ir al college aqui. Me encantaba estar con ella porque era super chistosa, gritona, platicaba por horas, le encantaba escuchar musica de todo tipo y bailar. Su sonrisa era contagiosa.
Su familia siempre nos ha tratado a mi hermana y a mi como parte de su familia. Se que ellos estan devastados por la perdida de su hija, y por todo el proceso y gastos del entierro. Su funeral es la proxima semana y yo me ofreci a ayudar a mis tios juntando algo de dinero que ayude con los gastos que estan teniendo.
Se que muchos de ustedes no conocieron a Sandy. Pero aquellos que si, siempre la recordaran por su gran sonrisa y amor por la vida. Incluso si donan un poco, se que va a ser de gran ayuda para su familia. Mil gracias!
