All of us have struggles and challenges, and when we can, we help each other to build our strength, our health, and our spirituality in order to continue to be as strong as we can be.  We have friends that give and give and never ask for anything in return.  Anyone who knows Sandy knows she is struggling.  Sandy was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer.  The best bad news ever!  She'll have surgery to include radiation and will miss a month or so from work.    Once she's strong and fully recovered, she will face another surgery for a benign tumor on her thyroid.  This too will cause loss of income due to recovery and necessary follow up doctor appointments.
She has health insurance, but no paid leave, so no income during that time.  Sandy is currently working three jobs in order to maintain her financial responsibilities.  As we all know, there are deductibles that will be need to be paid and everyday bills that will quickly mount.  She has received many prayers and support from family and friends, which is deeply appreciated.  However, if you have it in your heart, any amount of financial assistance would make this "Best bad news ever" journey much less stressful and devastating.  Sandy is so grateful these tumors were found in their early stages and she has a strong belief in her Higher Power and the power of prayer.  Any donation would be an answer to one of her many prayers.  Please help if you can.
