Sandy's breast cancer fight #SandyKriegelStrong

As most of you know our Mom, Sandy Kriegel, was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2020, at age 54. Since this time she has been receiving chemo and has two treatments left before her first surgery in September. Following surgery she will have a minimum of seven weeks of daily radiation and reconstructive surgery hopefully in early 2021. Through chemo she has been able to work part time on her good days but has long exhausted paid leave with appointments and weekly chemo. Starting in September she will be off work for an extensive period of time for surgery recovery, daily radiation and then again early next year for her second surgery. On top of the financial burden of missed work and medical bills, most of her treatments and soon radiation are in the Des Moines/Clive area, a one hour trip each way. Due to covid and not being able to do a benefit event we have set up this GoFundMe along with a PayPal ([email redacted]dotcom). This same gmail can be used to send any well wishes over the next several months. Any financial help is so much appreciated. She is always very thoughtful and selfless so it is my hope that through these uncertain times in our world and through treatments that we can lessen the financial stress of this already hard diagnosis.
