On Nov 18th (while in the process of trying to help a complete stranger with a hit-&-run in a parking lot)  Sandy sustained multiple (rather serious) injuries and fractured bones.  While her bones will heal and a full recovery is expected, she will be unable to work for at least 2-3 months and possibly longer.

This account has been set up so that family and friends may help Sandy and her family get through this process without suffering through the added stress due to loss of income!

We are early enough in the process that we don't, yet, know whether the other party is insured or not, and even if they have insurance it can take weeks or months to get financial settlements. Hopefully, this account can provide more immediate relief to a very stressful situation.

Every little bit helps ... and seriously NO PRESSURE to contribute!  But, from the bottom of our hearts we thank you for anything you can contribute!
