We have all been affected by cancer, and every story is unique and challenging. This story is about my Aunt Sandy. A beautiful and kind woman who has given her very own Kidney to save someone she loved, and SAVED his life. Please read her story, and let's help her get to Mexico, where she will kick Cancers Ass. She was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma earlier this year, and while they removed what they could from her spine, some remained behind for fear of paralyzing her, or worse. They started Chemo treatments almost immediately following the surgery, and had to stop treatments after the first was adminstered. Please read her story below.

My Aunt Sandy's Story.....

I had my first chemo treatment on June 13th,2016 and as some of you know it did not go well. I was extremely sick for about a week and the nausea and eating did not improve until the end of the second week. I was told they are using a heavy protocol on me. I ended up in the hospital twice for dehydration and went down to 113 lbs. I have gained 2 back.
I had no idea that chemo would cause so many side effects, some lasting the duration of treatment, others can be permanent and others can develop for quite sometime after treatment. These can include the following: Heart disease, lung problems, fatigue, second cancers, renal failure, fertility problems, lymphedema, memory & concentration problems, osteoporosis, mouth & throat sores, insomnia, weight loss, depression, high blood pressure, make fewer platelets (may need a transfusion), bladder & kidney damage, change your taste & smells, damages both cancer & Healthy cells leaving you wide open for infections and finally death.
I have been doing a lot of thinking these past 3 weeks and know that if I continue on this so called path to being healthy that it will kill me along the way.
I have stopped treatment and I have decided to follow a natural approach. I will be attending the Hope 4 Cancer clinic (in Mexico) August 15th. I know some of you may not understand my decision but I believe this is a fight I can get behind and fight for my life!!! I'm willing to do whatever it takes but I need to be strong & healthy if I'm going to succeed and this approach allows me to be. I want all of you to know that I'm going to give it 100% and I'm on my way to Victory!!! However, the only drawback going this way is the cost. It will be about $50,000 USD but damn it I'm worth it!
I love my family with all of my being and would love you to continue to support and pray for me. I'm not near done with yous, I want to be around for many more years to pick on ya and to enjoy many more fond memories. Loving you all forever & always <3
