Sandy Sauer Hustead-Hamburg High School Class 1973 & her husband Dave have come across some unexpected hard times. Sandy had 2 emergency eye surgeries for detached & torn Retina within 3 weeks & is unable to work her three jobs till further notice!
Dave is retired and receives Soc Security, But he recently had hip replacement surgery & is limited in what he can do. There is no medical Ins for Sandy & no income right now. They need Food, Rent, Utilities & car funds before all is gone. There is also thousands in medical bills from Sandy's surgery. She has applied for assistance, but will need additional funds to make ends meet.
Sandy's current jobs are Crossing Guard, Nursing Home Assistant & Delaware North for seasonal work at New Era Field.
Sandy & Dave were both Fire Fighters for 18 yrs in Hamburg. She was an EMT. Together they ran Hogs & Heroes NY-Chapter 3. Sandy is also a Chaplain.
