My name is Katie and I am a camper at Sandy Pond Campground right near the State Park on rt 15 in Sandy Pond. There was a huge fire that took out multiple camps on Wednesday night. We are very fortunate that no one was injured or worse. We do want to help our camp fam rebuild after having to lose such a precious place that many of us have come to know as the best place on earth. There were 3 camps lost in the fire and, I’m sure, much smoke damage around. Any help is greatly appreciated. We are taking donations via here, and also myself and Jessica Bajkowski will be taking cash donations or baskets. We will ensure that all three families are assisted.
