Yesterday on 9/13/2025 Sandy Phipp’s house caught on fire. After an electrical accident caused a fire to start, the local fire department was contacted immediately by her son and landlord who were there at the home. Within 10 minutes the first responders arrived to fight the growing flame. After almost two hours the flame was finally extinguished. Sandy who at the time of the fire was in Arkansas visiting her daughter at college, came home to a house that is now no longer inhabitable. Through the strong efforts of the fire fighters there were a few things that were managed to be salvaged from the home. But the full extent of damage from the fire, smoke, weakened roof, and water is still to be calculated. The local community has already been extremely willing to help where they can and the family is extremely thankful. We are asking for funds at this time so that as needs are identified in the coming days and weeks, the family is able to purchase and replace the things they can. Sandy is the DON of Mercy St. Francis Hospital where she continues to be a light for Jesus not only as a representative to her co workers but as a representative of the Christian hospital to the community as well. She is also a co-founder of the Jesus in the Park event that takes place each summer at Veterans Park. Through this ministry they feed the hungry and worship God to not only nourish the body but the soul as well. Sandy is also a very active in her church, Connexion Mountain View, where she is a large part of leading our school age children’s church. Sandy’s love for her family, church, brothers and sisters in Christ, and community is felt by all that are blessed to know her. They have not asked for this, they are a shining example of the faith that God is most important and things of this earth are temporary. But through this fundraiser we have the opportunity to pour back into someone who does so much for everyone else. Any amount you can give matters and we hope you will help us rally around this family to help them rebuild in this hard time. Thank you!
