Hi Everyone,
We never thought we’d be here asking for help, but life has thrown us a curveball we can’t handle alone.
Recently, Sandy was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer. Hearing the words “you have cancer” is something no one is ever prepared for. While it’s treatable, it doesn’t make the path ahead any less scary. Sandy also has a second surgery scheduled soon, which means more medical bills and more stress for our family.
We’ve already been hit hard financially. Even with insurance, we’re still paying for Otto’s shoulder surgery and multiple ER visits. Just when we thought we were catching up, Sandy’s diagnosis set us back again. It feels like no matter how hard we try, the medical bills just keep piling up.
Asking for help is difficult, but if you’re able to donate—even a small amount—it will go directly to Sandy’s medical care and help ease the financial burden. If donating isn’t possible, simply sharing this page would mean the world to us.
We are so grateful for your support, whether it’s reading our story, donating, or sharing our page. Every bit of kindness helps more than we can express.
With love,
Sandy & Otto
