Dear Family and Friends,
Our beloved Sandy Nunez unexpectedly passed on December 2nd, 2021.
Sandy was a wonderful Daughter and sister who touched the lives of many. Sandy leaves behind her Mother Vilma Natasha Cuellar and her brothers Danny Nunez and Anthony Nunez.
Sandy Nunez was born October 16th, 1991, and devoted her life to others, working as a case manager for the Denver and Aurora homeless populations. Additionally, her last year of life involved working with troubled youth providing support and tending to the needs of young souls.
In her short but rich life, Sandy came to know the vastness of the human experience. Sandys long-term goal was to work for the United Nations to help people globally. On her path to her dream, Sandy choose to begin working locally. Taking this first step was unbeknownst to many a very personal one. As a child Sandy's biological father suffered from untreated mental illness and from personal accounts to those close to her, she discovered he had become homeless. As a testament to Sandys’s kind heart, she chose to work with this population to better understand her absent biological father and help others from a place of empathy and compassion.
We are all devastated to have lost this beautiful, kind, and generous soul who Sandy was, and we were not prepared for the high cost of the funeral services. We want to give Sandy the memorial that she deserves to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes.
We are currently asking for donations to help to cover the cost of Sandy’s funeral we need to raise $10,00 by December 22nd, 2021, in order to able to afford the funeral service
Please consider donations, as any amount will truly help our family during this difficult time.
Thank you so much for your consideration,
Sandys mom Vilma Natasha Cuellar & her two brothers Danny and Anthony Nunez.
