Sandy's Medical Fund

This fundraiser is to raise money for my cousin Sandy, who is battling leukemia. Less than two years ago she was diagnosed with malignant breast cancer. She endured a double masectomy, a massive series of chemotherapy and then radiation, and then reconstructive surgery.  She beat breast cancer. A giant relief to her, her husband John and then 8 and 10 year old children, John and Gianna. What she didn't know is that those massive amount of chemotherapy damaged her bone marrow. The result is that less than 12 months after her treatment is over, she has been diagnosed with
acute myeloid leukemia.  AML is a rapidly spreading leukemia that needs intense and immediate treatment that starts with one month in the hospital for intense chemotherapy followed by a bone marrow transplant. The minimum treatment period is one year. Sandy and her family are going to face the loss of her salary and significant medical bills on top of the medical bills they are still paying off. Help us help her and her family by taking one less worry off their shoulders as they begin an other year of tremendous challenge. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
