After nearly three weeks in the hospital following a devastating stroke, our dear friend Sandy Alcime has passed away. He leaves behind his loving wife, Jo Ann, and their twin sons, Joshua and Joseph, whose lives have changed forever.
Sandy was the primary source of income for his family, always working hard to provide for Jo Ann and their boys. With his passing, they now face not only the heartbreak of losing a loving husband and father, but also the challenge of moving forward without his financial support. From medical bills and funeral expenses to mortgage payments and everyday living costs, there is much to take care of as they adjust to life without him.
One way we can honor Sandy’s life and the kindness he showed to so many is by coming together to support the family he loved so much. Through our generosity, we have an opportunity to ease some of these burdens and help Jo Ann, Joshua, and Joseph feel loved and cared for during this difficult time.
I’ve had the privilege of calling Sandy my friend for almost nine years. He was one of the kindest people I’ve ever known, always greeting others with a smile and open arms, and always willing to help anyone in need.
Originally from Haiti, Sandy was an amazing cook who loved sharing his food and culture with others. He spoke four languages and had a passion for soccer. But nothing brought him more joy than watching his boys play and cheering them on. His family was his world.
During his final weeks, we were blessed with precious moments when Sandy would open his eyes at the sound of our voices and squeeze our hands. One of the most beautiful moments was seeing him embrace Jo Ann one last time. These are memories we will always treasure.
If you’re able, please consider making a donation or sharing this fundraiser with others. Every contribution, no matter the amount, can make a meaningful difference.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, prayers, and generosity.
