Hi, my name is Sandy and I am fundraising for gender-affirming medical care, specifically facial feminization surgery (FFS).

While the consensus in the medical community is that FFS is an essential gender affirming procedure, unfortunately insurance companies - public or private - don't view it this way. The result is that I (as well as many other trans women) are either forced to pay for this massive expense out of pocket, or not access this care at all.

This procedure would afford me safety and piece of mind that’s hard to come by in a world that often seeks my destruction, and by donating here, you can directly help alleviate stress and make the world a safer place for a trans person.
