"Hi everyone! I need your help with something. I am trying to find a way to get myself and my wife and son a round trip ticket to the United states as I have not seen my mom or sisters or any of my family for that matter in around 7 years and I would like to introduce my wife of 4 years and my three year old son to my mom. I've been trying to raise the funds for about 3 and a half years but it seems quite impossible. Any Ideas??"
Hi, I'm Carol, Tommy's mom. I am setting this page up for those of you who have been following Tommy's work teaching and doing relief work in Indonesia, and expressed a desire to chip in when he first posted this question. He did not know about this site but it was recommended. Today I set up a special savings account at my credit union for this purpose.
 They would like to come in October and stay for Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas. Sandra has never seen snow...or any of us, and none of us have met her or little Mitch.
To get an idea of their work, look at both his (Tommy Arnold-Yogyakarta, Indonesia) and Sandra's (Sandra Monica)Facebook pages. working at an orphanage in Kupang, teaching English & TOFEL & SAT prep, helping get band equipment and teaching music to street kids and weekly visits to a children's oncology hospital in Jakarta, 2 relief trips to help in the IDP camps after Gunung Merapi erupted in Yogya, eventually moving to Yogya to teach art, drama, music and help withthe school magazine at Oliphant School...to name a few. It's all in the photos and timeline.
Our family are all giving what we can to bring them home for a good long visit, so please think about giving what you can...God bless you!
