A friend and his family need our help and support.
Please join me in lifting Sandro, Lani, and Tyler in our thoughts and prayers and with our generosity.
Sandro has recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, a terrible disease. His body is in tremendous pain, which often obscures his will to eat. But first, let me tell you a little about Sandro and how he has touched the lives of so many….
Where to start? There are so many things that can be said about this man.
A friend, a husband, a father, a sensei, a spiritual warrior, a soldier, a servant leader, and a God-fearing man. He is a man of integrity and faith who served his country, his church, and his community.
He is a man whose cross-cultural influences of Italian, Native American, and Japanese, along with his Christian faith, shaped his values and defined his Ikigai (生き甲斐, Japanese meaning: the reason for being').
Perhaps what makes Sandro unique is his loving, caring, empathetic, and friendly way about him. Throughout his life, he has used his God-given talents in the service of others. Also, he has a special love for his family. Yes, we all love our families, but everyone who meets Sandro can see and feel it.
Sandro has been diagnosed with stage-4 pancreatic cancer and has several lesions on his liver. The tumorous mass pressures his internal organs, making everyday tasks like eating difficult and painful.
So many people have asked how they can help and what they can do; this is how we can support them through this physical, mental, and spiritual battle. We can help with expenses and ensure his family is not financially burdened as Sandro fights for his life. Now is the time for us to help him.
Sandro and his family wanted everyone to know that funds raised, which may exceed their needs, would be used to pay it forward and to help others in their time of need.
Please keep Sandro and his family in your prayers and thoughts, and thank you for all your support.
