A month ago, in an unexpected turn of fate, we had to say goodbye forever to my brother-in-law Sandris Gravans. This left us sad and in disbelief. But his wife for 20 years and three sons lost their beloved father and husband and main provider.

Sandris was like his music: Deep & Unique. A creative and sensitive soul, always curious and eager to learn new paths to reinvent himself, a man of many talents that will be profoundly missed.
I don't remember having a conversation with Sandris about something that he wouldn't have known or heard. He was always looking for new trends in music and technology which were his main professional focus, whilst relentlessly teaming up with his wife, Inese, in countless projects where they learned to work and grow together.
Sandris and Inese were always planning something new and acting as a source of mutual inspiration by supporting their dreams and passions. The main passion was to become location and financially independent to be able to homeschool their kids and travel the world.
I still see their eyes shining when they were telling me how they met 20 years ago. The story of two late teens who just happened to be the greatest "team" ever.
As a result of this powerful love, they formed the most amazing family; three gorgeous boys were born from this devoted couple: Edvards (10), Ernests (7 ) and Everts (2) that are now left without one of the most important figures we have in life, a father.
Sandris was a present father and beloved husband, a family man who loved spending time in nature and seeing their kids grow acknowledging their virtues, rights and values. For that reason, he cooperated and supported Inese in one of the biggest projects of their lives: their children's education.
For the last 4 years, they have been homeschooling, reinforcing a mindset that believes in an alternative educational way, whilst following the year curriculum with a positive and respectful approach. This has been one of their most challenging and eye opening projects, which required a lot of changes in their lives, in order to do what they believe is the right thing.
Now, without Sandris, the dream of continuing homeschooling and all their many other working projects is threatened, leaving Inese and the kids with uncertainty in relation to their immediate future. It is for this reason that I have decided to join forces with all of you to support Sandris' family to go through one of the toughest moments of their lives, with your help we can get more time for them to avoid rushed decisions and give the opportunity to continue the path they have chosen together. You can help this lovely young family to continue building up their future, believing that it's worth working hard for your dreams.
This amount would give time to help Inese to establish her business to be able to support her boys financially while homeschooling.

Pirms mēneša, negaidītā likteņa triecienā, mums vajadzēja atvadīties no mana vīra brāļa, Sandra Gravāna. Notikušais mūs ir atstājis ar neticību un tukšumu sirdī. Mans vīrs zaudēja brāli. Bet Sandra sieva pēc 20 gadu kopdzīves zaudēja mīļoto vīru, un viņu trīs dēli zaudēja mīlošu tēvu un apgādnieku.
Lūdzu izlasi visu stāstu, lai uzzinātu kāpēc un kā vari viņiem palīdzēt šajā grūtajā laikā.
Sandris bija tāds pats kā viņa mūzika – Dziļš un Vienreizējs. Jutīga radoša dvēsele. Vienmēr ieinteresēts un gatavs apgūt ko jaunu, uzlabot sevi un savu darbu, cilvēks ar daudziem talantiem, kurš pietrūks daudziem.
Es neatceros, ka sarunājoties ar Sandri, viņš jau nebūtu kaut ko par runāto dzirdējis. Viņš vienmēr meklēja jaunākos trendus mūzikā un tehnoloģijās, kas arī bija viņa galvenā nodarbošanās. Vienmēr ar savu sievu Inesi strādāja kopā pie dažādiem projektiem, pateicoties kuriem iemācoties strādāt un augt kopā.
Sandris un Inese vienmēr plānoja kādu jaunu kopprojektu, kas kalpotu par savstarpēju iedvesmas un arī ienākumu avotu. Viņu galvenais projekts bija kļūt finansiāli un no atrašanās vietas neatkarīgiem, lai varētu mācīt savus bērnus mājmācībā un apceļot ar viņiem pasauli.
Joprojām atceros, kā iedegās viņu acis, kad viņi man stāstīja, kā iepazinās pirms 20 gadiem. Stāsts par diviem tīņiem, kas kļuva par lieliskāko “komandu”.
No šīs lielās mīlestības radās fantastiska ģimene – lieliskajam pārim piedzima trīs kolosāli puikas- Edvards(10), Ernests(7), Everts(2), kas tagad ir palikuši bez tēva.
Sandris bija mīlošs vīrs un tēvs. Ģimenes cilvēks, kam patika pavadīt laiku dabā, augt kopā ar saviem dēliem, iestājoties par viņu tikumiem, tiesībām un vērtībām. Tieši šo vērtību dēļ viņš atbalstīja Inesi un savi ģimeni finansiāli, visnozīmīgākajā savas dzīves projektā – savu bērnu izglītībā.
Pēdējos 4 gadus Sandris un Inese mācīja savus bērnus mājmācībā, izvēloties alternatīvu izglītības ceļu, sadarbojoties ar skolu, kas nodrošina standarta programmas apguvi. Šis ir bijis viens no vislielākajiem izaicinājumiem, kas atvēris acis uz daudz ko jaunu. Tas ir prasījis pielāgošanos un daudzas izmaiņas viņu dzīvē, taču tas viņuprāt ir pareizais viņu un viņu bērnu dzīves ceļš.
Tagad, kad Sandra vairs nav, sapnis par mājmācību, kā arī citi viņu sadarbības projekti ir apdraudēti, atstājot Inesi un viņu dēlus milzīgu neskaidrību priekšā par viņu tuvāko nākotni.
Šī iemesla dēļ es esmu nolēmusi apvienoties ar jums visiem, lai atbalstītu Sandra ģimeni, kas patreiz iet cauri tik grūtam dzīves posmam. Ar tavu palīdzību mēs varam dot Inesei vairāk laika, lai neizdarītu kādus pārsteidzīgus lēmumus, un iespēju nostabilizēties un turpināt veidot savu bērnu nākotni, kā bija iecerēts, ticot, ka par saviem sapņiem ir vērts cīnīties.

Hace un mes, en un inesperado giro del destino, tuvimos que despedirnos para siempre de mi cuñado, Sandris Gravans. Esto nos dejó a todos tristes e incrédulos. Pero su mujer y sus tres hijos perdieron a su padre, esposo y principal proveedor de la familia.

No recuerdo haber tenido una conversación con Sandris sobre algo que él no hubiera sabido o escuchado. Siempre buscaba nuevas tendencias en música y tecnología, que eran su principal enfoque profesional, mientras trabajaba con su esposa, Inese, en infinidad de proyectos donde aprendian a trabajar y crecer juntos.
Sandris e Inese siempre estaban planeando algo nuevo y actuando como una fuente de inspiración mutua apoyando sus sueños y pasiones. La idea principal es ser independientes en en cuanto a localización y financieramente para poder educar a sus hijos en el hogar y viajar por el mundo.
Todavía veo brillar sus ojos cuando me contaban cómo se conocieron hace 20 años. La historia de dos adolescentes que resultaron ser el mejor "equipo" .
Como resultado de este poderoso amor, formaron una preciosa familia; trayendo al mundo tres hermosos niños: Edvards (10), Ernests (7) y Everts (2) que ahora se quedan sin una de las figuras más importantes que tenemos en la vida, un padre.
Sandris era un excelente padre y marido, un hombre de familia al que le encantaba pasar tiempo en la naturaleza y ver crecer a sus hijos reconociendo sus virtudes, derechos y valores. Por esa razón, cooperó y apoyó a Inese en uno de los proyectos más grandes de sus vidas: la educación de sus hijos.
Durante los últimos 4 años, han estado educando en el hogar, reforzando una mentalidad que cree en una forma educativa alternativa, mientras siguen el plan de estudios anual con un enfoque positivo y respetuoso. Este ha sido uno de sus proyectos más desafiantes y reveladores, que requirió muchos cambios en sus vidas, para hacer lo que creen que es lo correcto.
Ahora, sin Sandris, el sueño de continuar la educación en el hogar y todos sus otros proyectos de trabajo se ve amenazado, dejando a Inese y a los niños con incertidumbre en relación con su futuro inmediato.
Es por esta razón que he decidido unir fuerzas con todos ustedes para apoyar a la familia Sandris a pasar por uno de los momentos más difíciles de sus vidas, con su ayuda podemos obtener más tiempo para evitar decisiones apresuradas y dar la oportunidad de continuar el camino que han elegido juntos.
