Sandra Zamudio's Medical Expenses

Hi, my name is Suzette and I’m starting this fundraiser for my sister Sandra Zamudio who recently was diagnosed with a rare case of placenta cancer, which has also affected her liver. Sandra is only 27 years old and is the mother of two young boys, a 6-year-old & a 9-month-old. Back in August she found out she was pregnant with a baby girl and was put on bed rest after some health complications. 3 weeks after that she was brought to TMC as an emergency where we received the devastating news about her cancer and unfortunately, her baby girl, Princess Leia, at 25 weeks, did not make it. Her whole world was turned upside down in a matter of hours. She was then transferred to Banner Medical Center where she has gone thru 3 different surgeries in the last two weeks, including an emergency C-section. She has gone thru 2 rounds of Chemo and will be getting her 3rd round this coming Sunday. Her amazing doctors are trying to provide the best treatment considering the rareness of her cancer, which leaves us uncertain about how many more chemos she will need and if any radiation treatments will be needed. Sandra was a stay-at-home mom with her boys; her husband is the sole provider. He has been working non-stop to continue providing for his family. Her boys are currently separated with family due to the difficult circumstances.

We understand times are rough, and we would genuinely appreciate any help you can provide, as her medical bills are quickly adding up. We also ask you to keep her in your prayers so she can finally leave the hospital & make it home to her boys & family.
