Sandra Zachary Medical Fund

UPDATE: January 16, 2023 - In the beginning of January Sandra was diagnosed with a very rare spinal stroke. Only 0.3.1% of all strokes are spinal. She has started physiotherapy, but to date has only been able to move one toe. Sandra is still paralyzed from the waist down, and naturally, she is very frustrated and suffers from depression and anxiety when looking to her future. She has been dealing with this for over two months now and she desperately needs our help and prayers. Original Post: Hi, my name is Cheryl Wilson and I have created this GoFundMe as financial aid for my dear friend, Sandra Zachary. Sandra has worked at Webber Law as a Real Estate Paralegal for Roger Webber for several decades and has proven herself as an integral part of Kamloops business and golf world.

3 weeks ago, Sandra ended up in Royal Inland Hospital emergency department, paralyzed from her waist down. Unfortunately, after endless diagnostic imaging tests and multiple surgeries - Sandra continues without resolve of her symptoms and remains without a conclusive diagnosis.

Sandra has suffered the loss of her husband Larry in 2018, and is the sole income for her household. The medical community at RIH has suggested Sandra may need to be moved to Vancouver for further specialized testing. The impact the financial burdens has is unfathomable and weighing heavily on Sandra; causing unnecessary additional stressors of paying medical bills, mortgage payments and household bills - amongst many other costs associated to her condition.

Although we continue to pray for answers, we need the support to ensure Sandra can focus on her healing journey instead of the financial stressors.
