On January 24, the San Antonio Report laid off Sandra Santos, a seasoned editor with more than 30 years of expertise and an integral part of the small nonprofit. The move happened just over one week after the staff, including Sandra, announced that they were forming a union. Coworkers are creating this GoFundMe to support Sandra during this difficult period to pay bills and support her family.
