Hi, my name is Lizzie, and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest times of my life. My beautiful mum recently passed away after a long struggle with Parkinson’s and dementia, and I’m doing everything I can to honour her wishes and give her the dignified farewell she deserves.

Mum was the kindest soul—gentle, funny, and so so loving. She faced life’s challenges with grace and strength, and always put others before herself. Now, I want to make sure her final journey reflects the love and care she gave to everyone.

Unfortunately, the costs of arranging her funeral have been overwhelming. I’m currently off work due to bereavement, and while I’m applying for support, there’s still a significant gap I can’t cover alone.

I’m asking for help to raise some funds cover funeral expenses, including the service, cremation, and a small gathering to celebrate her life. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference—and if you’re unable to donate, sharing this page would mean the world. Any additional money raised will be donated to Parkinson’s UK and Dementia UK.
