For anyone who knows Sandra Messer, she is one of the most uplifting and happy souls out there. She is selfless, kind, and will help you in any way possible. Her faith in God is inspiring. Her sons are her world. To say that she’s an amazing wife, mother, and friend is an understatement.

Sadly, Sandra‘s youngest son was diagnosed with Stage III Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer. This is one of the rarest and most aggressive forms of thyroid cancer. He has immediately started extreme radical radiation treatment. Radiation treatments will be ongoing for eight weeks.
During this time, Sandra will be unable to work as she will be her son’s caregiver while her husband Greg is the only source of income for the household. Under normal circumstances, Sandra would have an extended stay at the Hope Lodge, an nonprofit organization through the American Cancer Society. However, due to COVID-19 and the vulnerability of cancer patients, the Hope House is currently closed to the public.

We are asking for any support that can be provided to help curb the cost of hotel/hospital stays, gas, food, and incidentals for the eight weeks. We are aware that many people are facing financial issues today. We completely understand if you cannot donate, but keeping the special family in your thoughts and prayers will be much appreciated.
