Hi,

My name is Val and I am raising funds for Sandra Jorgensen who is now in palliative care for pancreatic cancer. I have known Sandra for over 35 years. We met when we both worked at Wardair and have kept in touch over the years. If you’ve ever met her you know she has a heart of gold and would do anything for you. She has had some tough life changing events over the last few years. Her husband has dementia and she is his primary caregiver. A few years ago, their house burnt to the ground and they lost everything. She also tragically lost her only sibling less than 6 months ago. But she never complained and has always been optimistic and supportive for everyone. She’s been a active member of her church and community. She dotes on her kids and grandchildren and has supported them emotionally and financially for many years. She was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It has spread and is untreatable. The family is facing life without her and will have some tough financial challenges especially in regards to her husband’s future care. Any donation will be greatly appreciated and I assure you will be put to full use for immediate and future needs.

She’s a wonderful person, always so giving of herself and I want to do this to give her something. A small comfort considering what she is facing. Thank you everyone for taking the time to read this.
