On Sunday, June 24, 2018, one of my closest friends from childhood lost his wife, Sandra Cha, due to a brain aneurysm hemorrhage. She was admitted into the ICU Friday morning and slipped into a coma that evening. Since then she was placed on life support until the decision was made to let her be with God. It breaks my heart to know that she left this world without a chance to say goodbye to her loved ones; especially to her beloved 4 year old daughter, Lana, who cherishes nothing more in this world than her mother. I've had the opportunity to meet Sandra a few times through John since their wedding and she has always been a passionate, energetic, and supportive wife & mom. She stepped away from being a successful media anchor woman in Korea to start a family in the states with my friend. They've resided in Korea, Hawaii, and most recently, Virginia since they've wed and along the journey have made many friends that are all feeling this loss at the moment. Since this tragedy social media has shown how many lives Sandra has touched throughout her life and again it makes me sad that my brother and his daughter has to suffer through these times.
