My name is Joni, and I am creating this fundraiser for my daughter Sandra, her partner Alex, and our family as we grieve the heartbreaking loss of our precious baby girl, Anastasia Lynn.

Our sweet granddaughter was born prematurely with Anencephaly, a rare condition that gave her impossible odds from the very beginning. But despite everything she faced, she proved to all of us just how strong and beautiful she was. She was a fighter until the very end, and she definitely inherited our family's stubborness. Every moment she spent here with us was filled with love, courage, and strength beyond words.

No family is ever prepared for the pain of losing a child. Watching my daughter and her partner go through this unimaginable heartbreak has been devastating. Along with their grief, they are now facing hospital bills, memorial and funeral expenses, and financial hardship while trying to heal from their loss.

I am humbly asking for help on their behalf so they can focus on mourning their beautiful baby girl without the added stress of financial burdens. Though her time here was short, Anastasia touched all of our hearts forever. She will always be remembered for her strength, her fight, and the love she brought into this world. And from now on, whenever we see a beautiful sunset, we will see her. We are incredibly grateful that we had the opportunity to hold her, comfort her, and tell her how deeply loved she was. In her final moments, she was surrounded by nothing but love from her family, and that is something we carry with us forever.
