Sandisfield Neighbors for a Pot Free Forest
Donation protected
Sandisfield residents are having an impact on how our town will address the marijuana issues before us. A zoning bylaw is on its way for a vote at the town meeting in May.
After two days of public comment at the Planning Board last week, a consensus is emerging that the town does not want industrial size marijuana cultivation in our neighborhoods.
The immediate challenge now is to be involved and vigilant in the Special Permit application from SAMA LLC for a 100,000 sq.ft pot factory on Abby Road. This effort will need not only our engagement at the meetings but additional legal actions. We need your financial support to have a voice.
Donated funds will be used for legal assistance, information materials and other communication activities. Our organization is all volunteers, so every dollar raised will go to informing the public.
