Sandi's Time To Shine During This Shit Time

Hi there my name is Hayley Wood and i am fundraising on behalf of my sister Sandi Wood.

 

Where to start with all this as this sort of journey isn't something anyone wants to be going through in life but here we are - someone who shares the same blood as me the same name as me.. She is my family!!

Sandi has not asked for this nor would prob approve of me doing this BUT to bad!!! its happening and its happening for a reason and that reason is to try and help her and her 4 beautiful children yes my nieces and nephews get through some tough times that they are about to go through as a family not only physically , mentally but also financially.

My sister a single mum of 4 works her arse of to ensure the best life for her kids, she lives for her kids and will fight till the end for her kids!!!

Sandi is blessed to have these beautiful children by her side right now as she has just recently been given the news that no one wants to hear ........you have been diagnosed with CANCER #FUCKYOUCANCER

After not feeling well and being sent for multiple tests and being poked and prodded in all areas and multiple test results showing nothing wrong the stress of knowing her own body and kept onto getting her health checked Drs finally diagnosed Adenocarcinoma of the bowel!! She has since been in and and out of multiple medical appointments and has had a hospital stay where an operation was performed leaving her bed ridden for 10 days and basically a pain in the arse to make is easy to understand!!!

During these tough times Zak, Lexi, Wez an Bella have had to step and and be there for their mum more then ever which they have done so with much love and support from many !! Dad has traveled up from Victoria and has been helping in many ways but that journey will end also and that's prob going to start showing where this little family pull together more then ever again and help each other get through what this next chapter of life brings as its not going to be easy!!! This week alone is a tough week as the real stuff starts the chemo the shit that is going to get her sorted and ready to take pole position and fight this shit till the end!!!!

Sandi is a woman who wont ask for help but like me will help others when needed, she would rather get up and do it herself or just silently struggle and tell you shes ok!! must run in our family with us girls!!! Anyway with the support of many i'm hoping that this little bit of help i'm asking for will make her feel a little bit of pressure being taken off her shoulders or arse (coz come on lets face it bowels are part of ya arse) and assist in hopefully making life a little easier.. i know money is not the answer but i also know life must go on and bills needs to be paid rent needs to be paid tummies needs to be fed so this is just to assist !!! i thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read and if you are able to assist in any way big small THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU XXX
