Sandee's Battle to Survive Cancer - PLEASE HELP!

Sandee Balise has always been a wonderful example of healthy living and being there for her friends, family and others in need. From her daily workouts, excellent eating habits and long hikes with her favorite Pups (Laci-Jane & Abbi-Rose), Sandee has always looked forward to each and every day and the wonderful adventures that lay ahead of her. However, all that changed Friday, December 3rd with three words from her doctor…."You have cancer."

After months of feeling unwell and increasing internal pain, Sandee was diagnosed with cancer in multiple organs, including her colon, liver and lungs. A colonoscopy had located a hemorrhaging mass and with that discovery she was immediately sent for a CT scan. This scan unfortunately reveled that this aggressive cancer had already spread throughout her 95lb body. SANDEE NEEDS A MIRACLE!!!

On Monday, December 12th Sandee will have a chemotherapy port installed and undergo a liver biopsy. The following day, Tuesday, Sandee will begin the battle of her life with six, 48 hour chemotherapy infusions in 2 week intervals. The goal is to shrink the tumors in her colon so that surgery can be performed. The lung, liver and other tumors will hopefully shrink as well opening the door for further successful treatments.

This has all happened so quickly. We were all shocked, sad, mad and scared, but Sandee is a Warrior and with the help of her family, friends and supporters, Sandee is waging war on this insidious disease.
