The Sand & Sage Motel is one of many motels on the East Colfax corridor in Denver that houses homeless families. These are hardworking people, raising their families in a very challenging situation. The bulk of their incomes go toward the $300/week rent to stay at the motel.

Many children are raised in these motels. They go to school and their parents work. Helping these families with winter wear for growing children and Christmas gifts would lift some of their burden.

Taryn Browne, for whom these folks are friends and neighbors, asked the children of the Sand & Sage for their winter needs and Christmas wishes. We are hoping to raise enough to cover all of these, as well as an evening of hot chocolate and visiting.
