My name is Matt, I am a UK national who used to live and work in the Gaza Strip.

I am partnering up with friends of mine in Palestine who have been running many campaigns to supply food and services to Palestinians in Gaza to start a new project, opening a medical point in Gaza City.

Project Concept:

After the extensive destruction of health centers in Gaza City during the war, thousands of residents have lost access to basic healthcare services, especially in densely populated areas with displaced families. With the deteriorating health conditions and the emergence of widespread diseases and epidemics caused by pollution, malnutrition, and the scarcity of clean water, it has become essential to establish an urgent medical point. This facility will respond to emergency health needs, provide minimal medical care to affected populations, and serve over 2,500 people monthly.

Target Group:

• Displaced families in areas lacking medical points.

• Patients with chronic illnesses, the elderly, and children who require healthcare and medical consultations.

• Individuals injured due to ongoing bombings.

• Injured persons residing inside tents.

Project Rationale:

• Destruction of most health centers and medical points.

• Spread of epidemics and diseases following the war.

• Increasing numbers of displaced people confined to limited areas and tents.

• High incidence of injuries and illnesses due to heat and continuous bombings.

• Shortage of medicines and essential supplies, particularly for patients with chronic illnesses.

• High cost and scarcity of essential medications.

• Continued warfare affecting the residents of Gaza Strip.

Project Location:
The medical point will be established in an area suffering from weak healthcare services and distant from existing medical centers.
