San Gabriel Old Mission Church

It is devastating and heart broken to hear the very sad news of this iconic Catholic Church in San Gabriel Mission, California on fire and mostly destroyed!!
The iconic Church has been around for almost 250 years!! This church meant so much to our family and many others. This was the first Catholic Church our family attended when we first arrived to the USA. I was then joined the Vietnamese Catholic Choir name “Tín Mừng” and sang with this lovely choir many years before our family relocated to Texas. This church has brought too many memories to our choir, particularly myself. We sang for many weddings, baptisms and many other church events.
Even though, I have been away for many years but my heart and souls still with my Choir and to this Church. I am traveling back to California at least once if not twice a year so that I can be together again with my lovely Choir members and visit this beautiful church.
Today, I want to do my part to give back something that this church had offer for our family spiritually and emotionally. I certainly hope all of my friends and family will generously help me to  achieve my goal so this iconic Church can be restored soon.
Every pennies will be donated to this Church along with donors list. I will keep everyone posted with report.
