To all our crafting family:
As we are all aware, this uncertain time has brought so many small businesses to a grinding halt, and our favorite ‘Homes Away From Home” are no different.
As the state, and more so the County of San Diego keep their tight restrictions on small businesses, The San Diego Scrap Inn and the Inn Too have not been able to reopen. Lisa Pritchard, the owner of these businesses is simply devastated as she fights to hold on to the places we dearly love to create at, and has been doing everything she can to continue to pay her costs to keep the doors ‘open’, even though they are currently closed. She has sewn and sold over 500 masks, and is filling every order she gets on her Etsy site to keep afloat… this however is not enough.
Lisa is one of our dearest friends, and over the years we have known her to be the hardest working woman we have ever met. She puts every ounce of her heart into both of these houses and does everything she can to meet the needs of her guests. She is an incredible mother and grandmother, and will give you her very last dime. All of you know her of course, and see this same person.
As her friends, we have set up this GoFundMe to fight to keep the doors open to the places we love so dearly. We are trying to raise enough funds for her to pay the bills of operation to keep it open until she can fully reopen… And believe us, the second she can, those doors will be open wide for all of us to come home.
She appreciates everyone of you, and can’t wait to see all of you!! Please give whatever you can and share this with all of your friends who have been at the Inn, or the Inn Too. Together we can make a huge difference in the life of a small business that means the world to all of us. Please know, 100% of donations will be used to pay the expenses to keep these doors open, no staff is being paid.
