Dear Devotees, Supporters, and Friends,
San Antonio Buddhist Vihara is excited to embark on a journey to expand the temple to a spacious place to create more functional spaces for spiritual activities. Currently, we occupy a small house where we have limited space for meditation activities with no parking facilities for visitors. We need a bigger space to provide a serene environment, where devotees can participate in various religious activities and gatherings comfortably.
Our vision is to create a sacred space where individuals can come together to worship, meditate, practice mindfulness and deepen their understanding of Buddhist way of life. The temple serves as a hub for the Buddhist community in San Antonio, however, it is open to anyone who is interested in learning more on Buddhist teachings. San Antonio Buddhist Vihara offers a variety of programs and activities, including meditation sessions, Dharma sermons, counselling, Dharma School for children, cultural events and festivals. All of these activities aimed at promoting social harmony, personal growth, and the teachings to live a happy and peaceful life by managing stress.
By supporting our GoFundMe campaign, you will play an integral role in bringing this vision to life. Your generous contributions will help cover the costs associated with purchasing a land (1 acre or more) with a house to move our current temple to a bigger place with parking facilities.
Please note that San Antonio Buddhist Vihara is a non-profit organization, and we are registered as a tax-exempt entity under #87-4346641. We will provide you a detailed receipt that you can keep for your records on your contributions towards this project.
Thank you for being a part of this important initiative. Together, we can make this dream a reality.
May you be well, happy & peaceful!
With heartfelt gratitude,
