Samworth Challenge - Westward Laboratories

We’re raising money on behalf of CoppaFeel, a charity aimed at creating awareness among young people about breast cancer. Our goal is to raise £2,000 as part of the Samworth Challenge. Which consists of three stages; cycling, canoeing, and hiking this year in the Cumbrian National Park. We are four lab analysts from Westward Laboratories in Cornwall, Tommy Ross, Katie Oldroyd, Sam Calleja and Kellan Harrison. We have chosen CoppaFeel as we have personal connections in our own lives.

CoppaFeel! are the first UK breast cancer charity to create awareness amongst young people, aiming to install a new healthy habit that could one day save a life. We're on a mission to stamp out late detection of breast cancer and ensure the nation is checking their boobs regularly. Educating people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, encouraging them to get to know what is normal for them and empowering them to have the confidence to see a doctor if they notice anything that isn't right for them.
