Samuel's Medical Fund: Your Support Matters

Hi,

I am organizing a GoFundMe for my cousin, Samuel Hilbrands, who was in an E-Bike accident on Sunday, May 11.

After a biking workout on a trail near his home, Samuel turned his bike to electric mode to return home. Moments later, he lost control and took a hard hit to the ground, causing severe road rash on the entire left side of his body. Samuel spent three hours in the Emergency Room, where he underwent intense wound cleaning. Thankfully, he was able to protect his head with his arm, so he has no head injury and surprisingly didn't break any bones. His wounds are deep, and he will have a long road of recovery ahead of him.

Samuel will need to be out of work for at least a week and will start wound care in a couple of weeks. His E-bike was a source of transportation to work, but was unfortunately totaled in the accident.

We ask for your support to help cover medical expenses, time off from work for recovery, and wound care. Any donation, no matter the amount, would be extremely helpful and will go directly toward supporting Samuel and helping him focus on recovering.
