Support Sam's health Journey

Hello friends, family, and fellow adventure enthusiasts! This family update might come as a shock to you. This year has been one of our toughest years. Samuel has developed a serious case of fibromyalgia (which is a pain disorder) that has been disrupting his everyday life. Early 2023, we discovered that Sam was unable to do his job much longer and it was time to search for something easier on his body. As of March 2024, the pain has gotten so bad he is unable to do everyday things most days. Including walking short distances, driving, going to work, enjoying activities with Dayla, and household work. He has seen multiple doctors and has around five doctor visits a month.
We're looking into an electric wheelchair but it can be anywhere between $1,000 to $10,000 and is something far outside our budget. Our insurance refuses to cover it this early and even if they did, the doctor said it can take a couple years to approve. He needs this now for grocery shopping, walks and activities with Dayla, and just overall quality of life.
Even though our life has been dramatically flipped upside down, we refuse to give up our adventurous spirit. We appreciate any thoughts, prayers, and donations. If we exceed our goal, extra will go towards medical savings.
If you have any questions please message us. Thank you and we love you all who have supported us.
