Supporting our friend in the time of grief.

Dear friends and compassionate hearts,

We come together as a close-knit community to support our dear friend Sam and family during this unimaginably difficult time. Tragically, she has experienced the heartbreaking and unexpected loss of her 6 week-old, beloved baby Samuel, leaving us all with heavy hearts. Sam lost her son while on maternity leave and at the end of her nursing school journey, while income is limited. On top of that, a few weeks prior she was hindered with a very costly, unexpected vet bill that took money from her planned maternity leave funds.

As we stand by her side, we want to extend our helping hands to alleviate some of the financial burden she faces in arranging a proper farewell for her precious little one. The overwhelming cost of funeral arrangements and related expenses can add further stress to her already overwhelming grief, and we believe that no one should have to face this alone.

Every contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful impact in lightening her load. Together, we can provide her with the support and care she deserves during this dark period. Our hope is that through this fundraiser, we can offer her the space to grieve and heal without the added worry of financial strain.
