Hola, les presento a Samuel, un niño increíble que nació con Paraparesia espástica, una condición neurológica que afecta sus cuatro extremidades. Nunca ha podido caminar solo, hablar ni realizar actividades básicas sin ayuda. Se comunica con sonidos y gestos, y aunque su cuerpo le impone límites, su valentía y su dulzura lo definen.

Samuel ha pasado por cirugías complejas, terapias intensas y tratamientos médicos que solo han logrado avances muy lentos. Hoy necesita una cirugía especializada llamada miotecnofasciotomía, además de terapias avanzadas con especialistas en neurodesarrollo, que no están cubiertas totalmente por el sistema de salud.

Como familia hemos hecho todo lo posible, pero los costos son muy altos, y por eso recurro a ustedes: para ayudarnos a financiar esta cirugía y los tratamientos que realmente pueden darle una mejor calidad de vida y un poco de autonomía.

Hello, I present to you Samuel. He’s an incredible little boy who was born with spastic paraparesis, a neurological condition that affects all four of his limbs. He has never been able to walk on his own, speak, or perform basic daily activities without help. He communicates through sounds and gestures, and while his body sets many limits, his courage and sweetness define him.

Samuel has undergone complex surgeries, intensive therapies, and medical treatments, but his progress has been painfully slow. Now, he needs a specialized surgery called myotenofasciotomy, along with advanced therapies led by neurodevelopmental specialists—treatments that are not fully covered by the public healthcare system.

As a family, we’ve done everything we can, but the costs are too high. That’s why I’m reaching out to you: to help us fund the surgery and therapies that could truly give Samuel a better quality of life and a bit more independence.
