In Loving Memory of Samuel “Sam” Gregory Brown

It is with profound sadness that we share the sudden passing of Samuel “Sam” Gregory Brown on March 22, 2026, at just 19 years old due to a senseless motor vehicle accident.. Sam’s life was taken far too soon, leaving behind a grieving family, countless friends, and a community that will deeply feel his absence.

Sam is the beloved son of Chris and Leslie Brown of Belleville. Brother of Rob and Melissa (Jake) Brown. Cherished nephew of Colleen “Tootie” and Mark Hewgill, Tim Brown (Kathy), Leila Gregory, Leizel Ramiro. Predeceased by his uncle Elmer Gregory. Treasured cousin to Kelsey Hewgill (Cayden), Braedon Hewgill (Sydney and daughter Georgia), Adam, Alexandria, and Ian. Loving uncle to Kaylie Brown (Dakota and daughter Kaida). Lovingly remembered by his grandparents Lucila and Engracio Gregory, the late Wib and Betty Brown and his adopted Grampason (Des Southwell). Sam will be forever loved and remembered by his extended family, his many friends and his beloved cat, Bert.
