Samuel goes back to school

Hi everyone,

Our family is seeking hepl for Samuel. Sam is wonderful 5 years old child with ASD ( autism spectrum disorder). On 2020 Sam was diagnosed with ASD level 3, this means Sam requires very substancial support and unfortunately we have not been able to get any support or funding from any of the programs we registered him, he is still on a wating list after 3 years and we are not able to cover the costs of therapies out of our own pocket.

Since 2 weeks ago Sam is refusing to go to school, the only place were he was getting some sort of help. We were very glad to see him at school as he was interacting with other children, also the teachers were doing an amazing job trying to help him with all of his challenges. As parents we have tried everything we can to get him to go back to school but all the efforts have been futile. One of the services OAP offers is the urgent response service, which we call seeking for help to try to get Sam back to school, however Sam doesn't qualify because he is not showing aggressive behavior towards himself or others.

All we want is for Sam to be able to have a normal life, to be able to go to school, meet people, interect with other children, communicate properly and overall just be better, in order to help him a achieve these Sam is in need of behavioral, occupational and speech therapies.
