Samuel Capps medical bills and funeral

Donation protected
Samuel Capps unexpectedly passed away on February 11th. Samuel was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. He had heart surgery as an infant and yearly cardiologist appointments to check on his heart. He was healthy and thriving.

On February 10th Samuel collapsed and went into cardiac arrest. His parents started CPR and Samuel was transported by ambulance to Cox hospital in Springfield. They wanted to airlift him to St. Louis children’s hospital but because of weather conditions he had make the 3 hour drive by ambulance with the flight crew. The medical staff did all they could do, but Samuels body had begun to shut down, and there was no neurological activity.

He passed away peacefully February 11.

Samuel lived life to the fullest. You would usually see him with a calculator in hand. He loved playing games on his kindle and watching veggie tales. He had a contagious smile and laugh.
Samuel had a genuine love for his family, friends, and the Lord. His family is heartbroken over the loss of Samuel, but have peace in the fact that Samuel is in heaven. He is healthy, he knows no pain, and one day they will be reunited.

We are raising money to help his family cover the costs from his ambulance ride, hospital stay, and funeral costs. They did not have medical insurance.
The last thing his family should have to worry about while grieving the loss of Samuel is medical bills. Any little bit will help cover those costs.
