Donate to help Samuel and Jasmine become parents

As some of you may or may not know, Jasmine and I received the news in 2020 that we would be unable to conceive naturally and would need to go through IVF.

Throughout 2021, we completed four cycles. These cycles include egg collection, fertilization, genetic testing and freezing. Each round cost between $11,000-$13,000. Unfortunately, that doesn’t include medications, hospital admissions and genetic testing.

We have had minor success with the egg collection. The first and second rounds were not successful. Our third round gave us some hope as we could collect mature eggs and fertilize them. However, this third round failed as there was an abnormality in the only embryo we had. After a break, Jasmine and I tried for four a fourth round, where we had a successful egg collection, fertilization and freezing.

Jasmine has gone through two embryo transfers, including more injections and medications and an agonising 12-day waiting to see if the embryo has implanted and finally say that we are pregnant. Unfortunately, we have suffered through two early pregnancy losses. The sadness and grief is the hardest thing either of us has ever endured.

So this is where we have come full circle. Jasmine and I are asking for your help to make us parents, and although there has been significant heartache and loss, we still have hope that we will be able to have a little person of our own.
